What should I do if I want to order?

-We can help you order over the phone, via chat, or email to help with any questions and give you the perfect recommendations for your preferences. Depending on what hangar or how many hangars you may have determines what systems and bundles are better suited for your needs.
How do I change my order that is already placed?
Contact our team as soon as you can so we can help either change your order or cancel the order and help you resubmit with the correct products wanted.
How long does it take for me to receive my order?
-Typically an order is process within 1-2 business days if you do not have a Door Controller. If you happen to have a Door Controller in your order you will receive a survey via email to complete before we are able to fulfill your shipment.
-Once your order is fulfilled you should reveice the order within 3-5 business days depending upon location.
How to put multiple products into the same order?

Do I need WiFi to use HangarBots smart products?
-No, The HangarBot hub is powered by AT&T cellular data. As long as your area supports this network, your HUB will be perfectly operational. Monthly plans start at $15/mo or $120/yr -- $10/mo.
- If your Hangar does have it’s own WiFi router, we have a hardwire option that connects via ethernet.
How do I setup my HangarBot products?

I have questions about the product or want to change from a Cellular Hub to a WiFi Hub, what to do?
If you would like to swap out something or exchange a product please contact our support team to help. We make it easy on our customers to swap out or customize their systems and experiences.
Where do I put my HangarBot Hub?
We recommend that you place the HangarBot Hub in the middle of your hangar at least 6 feet off the ground or higher. Also we recommend that the Hub is not obstructed by anything as much as possible.
What should I do if my Hub is not responding and the Status LED is Red?
-Try power cycling your unit. Unplug the HUB and your other HangarBot devices from all power sources for 15 seconds and then re-connect.
-If it still is not coming online after 5 minutes from doing this please contact Support.
Do you have an app for Android and IOS?
Yes! We have the HangarBot app that is your go-to tool for using all of our products in one simple to use app for a seamless ecosystem. Our app works on all versions on Android and IOS devices.

-Try power cycling your unit. Unplug the HUB and your other HangarBot devices from all power sources for 15 seconds and then re-connect.
-If it still is not coming online after 5 minutes from doing this please contact Support.
How do I setup my HangarBot Hub?
-First find a central location in your hangar to place your HangarBot Hub, we typically recommend a central beam or pole to where you can magnetically place the Hub and make sure it is around 6 feet off the ground for the best connectivity.
-Once you have the spot you would like it to be in, plug the HangarBot Hub into power. Once powered on you will want to follow the setup steps in the guide provided inside your HangarBot Hub box.
Why can I no longer access my Hub from the HangarBot app?
Access to the HangarBot Hub requires a data plan in order to connect to our servers. Please sign into your account on the HangarBot website and see if your plan is active or if it is have a payment issue.
Can I place my HangarBot Hub outside?
-No, you are not able to place the HangarBot Hub outside as it is not weather proof or sealed. It will damage the HangarBot Hub if it gets exposed to water.
-Please make sure to keep the HangarBot Hub inside and in a dry location to make sure it does not get exposed to water.
Do I need drill holes into my hangar to mount the HangarBot Hub?
Absolutely not, we have thought of pilots who rent/lease their hangar. All of our products are capable of being magnetically mounted with provided magnets in the box to use in case you do not wish to damage the hanagar.

How do I install my Lynkguard Camera(s)?

Why is Live Stream not working?
-Sometimes this may be due to poor connection, please make sure you are getting a good signal and then close and re-open the HangarBot app before trying again.
-If this continues to not show Live Stream unplug your HangarBot Hub for 5 seconds and then wait 3-5 minutes before trying again.
-If nothing changes, please contact our Support team so we can further assist you.
How do I turn on Night Sight for my camera?
Night Sight is already enabled automatically once the camera detects the surrounding area as "dark". Then the IR lights turn on and illuminate the area for the camera to see.
Are the Lynkguard Cameras waterproof?
Yes! They are IP67 waterproof and are meant to be placed outdoors and indoors.
Can I Live Stream with the Lynkguard Camera?
Yes you can, however you will need the Live Streaming Data Plan if you have our HangarBot 4G Hub. We do not recommend Live Streaming with the Essentials Data Plan as it will not allow you to stream.
Does the Camera have to be magnetically mounted?
No, you may mount the camera to anything you wish. We have included magnets for the camera as the most common way of mounting. There are screw holes where the magnets are places at and you can use those holes to mount it to anything you wish, a tree, wood siding, brick, or even sheetrock.

How do I install my HangarBot Door Controller?

Will the Door Controller work with my current door?
-It depends on if you have a motorized door or manual door. If your door opens and closes via a motor and it doesnt have locks it will work without modification. If manual, we currently do not offer a manual solution at this time.

My Door will not open on the app.
-Try power cycling your HangarBot Hub unit. Unplug the HUB and your other HangarBot devices from all power sources for 15 seconds and then re-connect.
-If it still is not operational after 5 minutes from doing this please contact Support.
Does the Door Controller work with solar power as a source?
-This depends on the output, if your door is able to be powered on via solar or if you have battery storage that can hold enough charge to power your motor. Then it can activate the door controller as well.
-However, the Door Controller and HangarBot Hub will need constant power to them to keep in communication even when not in use just to stay connected to our servers and to the Cellular Signal.
What is a Door Controller Survey?
The Door Controller Survey helps us before fullfilling your order to make sure your Door Controller is custom wired and fitted with everything it needs before shipping to you. This will ensure a smooth and effortless installation process.
Can I place my Door Controller outside?
-No, you are not able to place your HangarBot Door Controller outside as it is not weather proof. It will potentially damage the HangarBot Door Controller if it gets exposed to water.

How to pair my HangarBot Outlet?
-To put the outlet into pairing mode you will need to first have the outlet plugged into power. Then press and hold the button on the side of the outlet for 5-7 seconds until it is flashing green and orange.
- Once you see the small led on the outlet flashing green and orange then go into the app and on the Outlets page tap on the green plus button and continue through the process shown. Once paired the outlet will be a solid green and you will see it on your Outlets page in the HangarBot App.
How do I turn On and Off my HangarBot Smart Outlet?
Can I place my HangarBot Smart Outlet outside?
No, the outlet is not waterproof and may get potentially damaged if placed outside. The smart outlet is meant for indoor use only at the time.
How do I know if something is off or on?
How many Amps does the HangarBot Smart Outlet output?
-The HangarBot Smart Outlet is industrial grade and will output up to 16Amps.
-This is enough to power anything you may have in your hangar including an Engine Pre-heating kit.
